This post is about...... !!!HOW WEIRD GROWN-UP ARE!!!
So we were walking back from the restaurant when I said, "I think that maybe we should try out the other hotel down the road that the other day we had looked in." Then Will said, "I feel a little embarrassed to go back there after turning them down,""Why?" I said. Then my Mum murmured "Well....".
"Adult stuff, just plain and simple adult business!" I shouted. Then Mum and Will laughed. Any kid reading this promise me that you won't go on Holiday with an adult for three or more weeks, I'm telling you they're nightmares,.
LOL!!! Love it Sam. Keep posting. xxx Grandma
ReplyDeleteYeah! You're right. Whenever I go away with your Grandma it is absolute Hell. Adults! Who needs them.

I appreciate that!! You need to start looking for kids your own age to play with!!!!
ReplyDeleteAw! - give us a break. Don't look so forlorn. We just know better than you - or in my case - Wavesurfer Granddad would say better then everybody else !!I do have to agree !!
ReplyDeleteSpare us Sam
Lovely to speak to you on Skype - although we broke up a bit - no, not in the real sense.
Luv u GrandmaL & Wavesurfer xxx
The weather in the Cotswolds has been amazing this week. Not sunnny in your sense, but completely autumnal, chilly evenings & sunny warm bright clear sky days.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are beginning to change colour. Soon the countryside will be a blaze of reds and yellows prior to the leaves finally falling leaving the bones of the trees' skeletons bare for the winter.
The conkers are also falling but there are no good ones around. They are either too small or too dry and break easily. This is due to high winds blowing them off and a parasite moth affecting the growth of the Horsechestnut trees.
So, forget the conker matches this year!
Grandad rescued two baby pigeon chicks (squabs) which fell from their nest high in the fir tree.
Unfortunately, they did not survive as they were too shocked. It was quite sad.
I am trying to do a bit of knitting! Like Henri I do so much, mostly wrong, then spend all of my time, and effort, unpicking and starting. again. I wonder if there will ever be anything wearable at the end of it or if the babies will have grown too big before it is finished!!
We are going to Blenheim Palace, Oxford, this weekend. It is where Winston Churchill was born and he is buried in the attached village of Woodstock.
We are having a summerhouse (shed) erected in the garden in October ready for next year. The green shed has been removed and Grandad has built a lovely little shed in the bottom corner of the garage. It is sooo sweeet, but it is too small to put anything in it !! Nevermind it looks nice and Grandad is putting all his shed stuff in the garage !!! It would make a great playhouse - can you imagine who would love it ? bet you can.
I would e-mail this to you but I am having probs with mine.
Love you xxx Gee & Whizzz
I meant bottom corner of the garden !!x
ReplyDeleteDear Sam,
ReplyDeleteGrandad Hairy and myself are off to Spain for a week. We go today. The weather here has also changed for the better, so we probably are going to find rain in Spain, and meanwhile it will be sunny and warm here. Not to worry. We are going to stay with our friend Gisella, and I'm most looking forward to seeing her. When we come back, I think Uncle Alex and Auntie Jess may come and stay for the weekend, so we are looking forward to that too. Grandma Lil and Grandad Phil seem to be doing all sorts of exciting things don't they. Perhaps if they are feeling so energetic Grandad Phil could come and put up a little garden shed for us too! :>} Hope you have met some kids to play with now. Grown ups are So boring aren't they. xxx Grandma Stephanie
Not all adults are like your two adults ya know!! LOL xxxx
